Carrots

On arrival the carrots are washed, possibly polished and sorted into three categories. Following this any imperfections is lasered using fully automatic machinery. Experienced personnel conduct a final manual check before packaging.

The standard sorting categories for carrots are:

• 50-250 gram
• 100-300 gram
• 200-400 gram
• 400-600 gram

Beetroot

On arrival the beetroot is washed, possibly polished and sorted into three categories. Following this any imperfections is lasered fully automatically. Experienced personnel conduct a final manual check before packaging.

The standard sorting categories for beetroot are:

• 30-50 mm
• 50-80 mm
• 60-90 mm
• 80-100 mm
• 100-120 mm

The carrots and beetroot can be packed in:

• Net bags 10 and 20 kg
• Plastic bags 10 kg
• Big bags
• EPS trays 12.5kg and 20 kg
